It's a shiny day!

I don't know where in the world you are today, but here in North Texas it is a beautiful day. The birds are singing, the sun is shining, and there is a slight tinge of heat on your back when you walk outside. WOOHOO! I love spring especially after a hard winter. As Rylan would say it is a SHINY DAY!

Psalm 118:24:
This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Isn't it wonderful outside. For the past month it has been freezing. We've never been this cold this long. The people who believe in global warming don't know what they are talking about. I was thinking if it didn't warm up soon I was going out side with my hairspray can to see if I could make a little bigger hole in the ozone. ha

I'm hoping to get a run in today. It's a little breezy, but I'm not going to be ready for the 9 miler with Rocky if I don't get on the ball.

It's a bit warmer here today too -- in the 40s, I think -- downright heat wave!! No sun, though. I don't have much hope that it will stay warm either. Y'all Texans enjoy your warmth. I'll be with ya in a few months. :)

I almost broke out my shorts yesterday. Today is shiny with a nippy breeze. This is why I loved living in Phoenix. It makes me want to start skipping down the street on my walk singing "Heavenly sunlight, heavenly sunlight..."
