Tech Vs. UT

Rocky and Rylan may have had one of the hottest tickets in the state on Saturday night. They sat in row 4 on the 50 yard line as Texas Tech defeated UT in the final 8 seconds of play. Saturday’s attendance of 56,333 was a Jones AT&T Stadium record. I heard that tickets were selling on ebay for thousands of dollars by the end of the week last week. Rocky says that no amount of money could have been a worthy exchange for being at one of the most talked about football games of the year. Rylan loved it and says that he is going to play football for Texas Tech someday.
Rocky and Rylan took their turn down on the field (after time REALLY ran out) and got some autographs. Rylan got an autograph from Daniel Charbonnet (#10) and his younger brother, Taylor Charbonnet (#8). But he was most excited to get the autograph of Jordie Rowland (#38 of Naz) who is the older brother of the Nazareth Swifts quarterback, Nicky Rowland.
It was certainly an experience of a lifetime for a 5 year old boy (probably for a 32 year old boy, too).

That is so cool! They look pretty happy. Our boys say that they are going to play for Tech too. We should probably go ahead and get our season tickets for the year 2020ish so we can all sit together.
