Top Ten Tuesday


Top ten lessons that I have learned from my kids......



  1. it's ok to ask why

  2. getting too tired will make a person grumpy

  3. the world is amazing

  4. excitement is contagious

  5. asking questions helps you to learn

  6. it's ok to cry

  7. you should have LOTS of friends

  8. being too serious is boring

  9. it's good to have heros

  10. everyone needs their behavior redirected from time to time

This is way too funny---I read your blog earlier this morning before you posted for today. then I did my blog on things i have learned from my grandkids--then came back here--great minds must think alike.

I especially agree with #2!! It seems whenever I can't figure out why I am cranky, I just have to consider that it might have helped to get more sleep! For some reason, it's a lot easier to see it in the kids. (o;

My kids have taught me that it's okay to say I'm sorry. And, I don't have to be perfect around them.

Seeing their imperfections helps me to remember my own!
I agree with Lisa about No. 2--that's a biggy around here.

My children have taught me that my growing older has blessed them in many ways, for example:

When we are in public and they need to locate me, all they have to do is look for a bright shiny bald spot and they know chances are it is me.
