Raleigh Trip

I have written a million posts about how much I treasure my good friend, Stacy. I got to visit her (thank you Ray) this last weekend. What a treat!! We giggled like little girls, shopped like teenagers, and played with her kiddos like mommies. That is what I love most about our friendship. We became close in the fourth grade and have stayed that way for 23 years. We have been through every phase of our lives together even though we have rarely lived in the same town. I love her husband dearly and remember the many conversations with her when we were in high school about how she would one day be Mrs. Darwin. It is so great to have watched them go from sparkly eyed teenagers in love to the great parents that they are today. They have created a wonderful life for their family in a beautiful place. I enjoyed my visit and feel so blessed to have had the oppurtunity to visit North Carolina.

Thank you Stacy and Ray!

HEY!! I've been wondering where you've been! You were almost in my neck of the woods! Cool. Hope you enjoyed the east. Glad you have such good friends!

Hello to you, too, Lisa! I thought about you when I saw a ton of Virginia license plates in Raleigh.

Neva,

Thanks for the prayer. The plane ride was better than usual. I actually had to change planes in Houston both there and back so I had to "take off" 4 times which is the part that I don't like. Amazingly I found a lot of peace this time. I am sure that it is because I had so many good friends like you praying.

Glad you had a safe trip. Kept you in our thoughts. Glad you're back too. Old friendships are too valuable to let die out.

Glad you had a good time. You should have taken in a NASCAR race up there. ha
