It

The alarm rings at 6:30 a.m. and I feel the stirring in my stomach, today is it. Everyone gets dressed (all in blue of course) and we began to get ready for it. Coach has a different look in his eyes, one of concentration, excitement, and seriousness; I know that he is feeling the stress of it. The students are filing into school, some in cheerleading suites and others in their matching blue polo shirts, but all dressed for it. Everyone seems to be walking with a more upbeat pace as if hurrying to get to it. Just like the plot to a great movie, everything seems to lead up to the moment that they flip those stadium lights on and young men dressed in pads and helmets run out to meet their competition. This is our life. This is our story. It is what keeps us going!
