Forgive the cheesy title and for going so many days without a new post. Because I rarely find time to blog during the semester, I have decided that it would be a great idea to bore you with my assignments. I am taking poetry so consider yourself warned. This assignment was to write an imagery poem. So here ya go..................
The heart of a mommy
By Monica Smart
The cool breeze rushes in swiftly behind him
The wet puppy aroma tickles my nose
The mud from the yard came in with him
Before the word STOP can come from my mouth,
He jumps in my lap
and I pat his head
He is dirty and smelly
But his eyes twinkle as he shouts, I love you Mommy!
Then he runs back out the door
And I wait anxiously for the next cool breeze

Good Job... and very cute picture
I think I may print this, frame it and hang it in their room. Too cute! And I can actually smell them run in just reading it. Sweet young silly boys.
This sounds just like my Cason. Rylan is such a cutie.
